San Francisco - Monterey - Carmel

A 1950's home was gutted and doubled in size for this young family with two small children. The original tract-style dwelling was a simple box with no discerning character. The owners worked with me to add a new master suite, kitchen, dining room and garage to the existing structure.We redeveloped the interior to provide a free-flowing floor plan that their children could wander through easily. We also worked together to redesign the exterior look and feel of the house in keeping with the neighborhood and the rustic feel of rural Carmel Valley.
