About Me

In an architectural career spanning more than thirty years I have designed projects including custom homes and renovations, performing arts facilities, television and radio studios, museum exhibits and installations, and multi-family housing.

Today, my focus is on designing smaller and more personal projects that incorporate the latest advances in universal design to ensure ease of use and accessibility by people of all abilities and ages. I create environments that go beyond functionality. Working personally with each client, I strive to discover and express my client's hopes and memories through the use of space, light and materials. This intensive design approach results in personalized environments that are the very essence of home.

I am a licensed architect in the State of California and certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). I hold the LEED Accredited Professional designation (LEED AP BD+C) for sustainable and energy-efficient design from the United States Green Building Council. I am also a Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) with the National Association of Home Builders, and a member of The American Institute of Architects.
